MY IDOL!

Peektures for sat with han & boon finally up! Headed down to town to lepak & snap some shots with han after ABC talk. Went to quite a few places like penisular, funnan, raffles place, marina square, esplanade & even marina sands! Boon joined up too after his haircut too & we all had hell lotsa fun! Shall let the peektures do the talking ^^

Went to ABC for a talk on "16 guidelines to living a better life -contentment-" with sihan, weishen & sis in the morning. It's really quite an enriching talk because I finally understand that true happiness comes from within ourselves and that greed is one of the biggest obstacle we all face in life. If left unchecked, this greed within us would then slowly transform into jealousy which eventually causes hatred & disharmony among people. I also learnt that no material things in life can give us true happiness because our human mind would always crave for better & nicer things. But we cannot deny the fact that material things such as a brand new Iphone 4 wouldn't give us happiness, but these happiness are only temporary because we satisfied our desire & fed it with the latest technolgy. And then what would happen when a new Iphone is release again? this desire and craving for better & nicer things definitely would be back again. People always think that Happiness is external & can only be achieved from the outside. We are all brought up in a society where money is everything. Ever since young, we were all taught by our parents that if we study hard, next time in life we will get a good job, earn big bucks & then with all the money we earn, we can get whatever we want. But the truth is, true happiness is internal. Only with peace in mind can we live a better and much meaningful life.

Celebrated Darren belated birhday last week! Haven't really got time to meet up with them since grad class stopped & everyone likeaaa beeezzy with their own life. Met up for a simple lunch & then then chilled & play monopoly deal @ Dhoby Ghaught green ^^ peekturees up!
